Description

Instrument used to carve wax patterns, it generally features a beveled blade of varying shape and size, which can be heated to soften the wax while shaping the pattern.
PKT (Dr. Peter K. Thomas) is a tool for adding, carving or polishing wax.

Pointed instrument used for the supplemental and developmental grooves. No. 3 is used for refining and smoothen occlusal surfaces by rubbing the wax with the blunt tip.
